The attached photo illustrates how I make adjustments to my four-jaw chuck to get a workpiece to run true. With two keys, the adjustment could be made to a much more sensitive setting than with one key because the workpiece is easily shifted. This way, it is kept in close contact with the jaws and does not come loose nearly as easily. This is obviously a simple trick, but you should give it a try! I’m sure you will find it to be as handy as I have!
